About me
Dr. Rodion Kononchuk obtained his Ph.D. in physics from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2019, where he conducted research on novel microwave and photonic devices. After completing his Ph.D., he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Wesleyan University in Connecticut, developing noise-resilient inertial sensors with enhanced precision. In 2022, Dr. Kononchuk joined A. M. Fitzgerald & Associates, where he works as a MEMS Developer. A. M. Fitzgerald & Associates provides MEMS development services to industry, serving both startups and big-tech companies around the globe. Dr. Kononchuk designs prototypes of novel MEMS devices—such as inertial sensors, ultrasonic transducers, and biomedical sensors—which are then transferred to commercial foundries for large-volume manufacturing.
